Air Fraser spotted 3 humpback whales in the Bay!
Today Wednesday 30/6/2010 Air Fraser Island pilot Tim spotted the first Humpback whales south of Roonies Point off the weatern side of Fraser Island. This is extremely early for these magnificent mammals for their southern leg of their migration to the South Pole. Hopefully this early arrival means an exciting long season for our hundreds of visitors to Hervey Bay to witness the marvel of Hervey Bay Whale watching! Air Fraser will be operating aerial spotting and flights later in July.
